Hello @TheM00ps,
As this is a 3rd Party aircraft, it’s best to contact them directly. If they deem it’s an issue in MSFS 2024, they can bring this forward.

The Bug Reports Hub is for 1st and 2nd Party only.

I also have this aircraft, and I will test this as well.

Lighting too dim to see seems to be common across the board. You cannot tell if the dash or exterior lights are on in the 172 classic either.

The electrical system seems bugged in the 172 Classic, I think those lights just don’t turn on.

Mine does. I’ve been flying it all week. Not sure why it works for me and not others, except that I didn’t try it until Saturday and maybe it was fixed by then. It never failed for me

It was broken for me a couple days ago, well after it worked for you, so perhaps it’s a conflict with another streamed package I and others with it can’t disable.

Asobo is looking into at least some causes of this in their dev support area and was logged on November 5th.

It sounds like there is a mix of issues. Some may be aircraft not taking into account time of day (two of mine that are broken already did) but some are Asobos.

Time of day may not work well because time variables in the sim are working differently to FS2020 too.

It sounds like things are tricky in FS dev land with the 1.0 SDK!

Some aircraft devs have added workarounds that are available from their discords. I don’t know about Caranado.

Maybe. The 172 doesn’t work for me either. I don’t have many Marketplace aircraft so maybe I’m just “lucky”.

It is interested that it seems to be the only aircraft affected. Though I admit I haven’t tried most of mine.

You would think Carenado being a partner and having advance access to the sim for a while now that their aircraft would be ahead of other non partner devs in terms of compatibility but yet again we see how they are with necessary updates. Nothing changes. It’s just the same traits but for a new sim.

I have been waiting for them for about 15 years now to fix their Hobbs meters in most of their aircraft.

Same issue on PC :frowning:

• same issue as described by OP with the M20R

So the pending question.

Is this bug a Carenado thing to fix or an Asobo compatibility thing to fix. I’m thinking the later seeing as it’s perfectly fine in 2020.

It’s an Asobo thing IMO. The lights are screwed up in a number of aircraft from different developers, namely they are too dim during daylight. Often people are reporting that they don’t work, but they do if you try them after dark. It’s just that you can’t tell that they are on in the daylight.
