Hi everyone. I swapped the dlss file for the newest one last night to try it out and even though the picture was a lot more crisp and clearer it seemed to be half the fps and really laggy when moving around
Is there a setting anywhere I need to turn on to support it ? I’m sure I seen someone that. Setting in nvidia control panel needs turned on dlaa or something

Use DLSS Swapper to update to DLSS 4. The latest version is called 310.2.1
At the bottom of the DLSS Swapper page is a little settings gear. Open it and turn on the overlay. That will allow you to ensure that DLSS 4 is actually working when the sim is running. You’ll see it in the lower left corner of the sim window.
In the sim graphics settings, choose DLSS
Performance vs. Visual Fidelity in descending order of FPS hit:
TAA
DLAA
Quality
Balanced
Ultra Performance
Try DLAA first. If the FPS is too low, try DLSS Quality.
If DLSS 4 Quality doesn’t give you anough FPS, then you should reduce some other graphical settings in the sim.
Though in fact I find that with DLSS 4, Balanced actually looks good enough to use. But I use Quality and get plenty of FPS. With my system I can’t quite use DLAA, as it hits my GPU a little too hard with the graphics settings I want.
I’ll give this ago soon. Is there anything in nvidia control panel I need to change ?
I was getting 70/80 native fps and around 110/120 with frame gen on TAA before but dlss has improved the graphics just not the smooth running so I’ll check soon and report back
It seems odd to me that DLAA is giving you problems, but TAA did not.
On my system, TAA hits my performance the hardest. Can’t really use it. DLAA is better, but I find Quality to be the best for me.
Scrap that it’s only when I zoom out of the cockpit they go blurry if I adjust camera with a decent view there not that bad. Time to do some comparison to taa and dlss dlaa visually
Even if I end up on TAA will leave the dlss 4 installed effect anything ? As it still seems a better picture on there compare to the old dlss version
My 3090 Ti supports 2 of the 3 (no frame gen.)
A 50-series GPU can do multi-frame generation, but at the cost of visual fidelity.
You can have TAA do the antialiasing, and DLSS can handle the Frame Gen.
In that case you won’t get rescaling options (which is what DLSS Quality, Balanced, Performance all are.)
