I’ve tried the A320 V2 and the Zlin Savage to get an airliner and GA tried out.
Both were the same experience - a bunch of little dots highlighted on various parts that are almost impossible to interact with or click. Some of them I can get to turn into a green checkmark by clicking 50 times. Others I can never clear.
Also I swear in preview videos for example you could check tire conditions but all I get is a green checkmark, no status or metrics on pressure or % condition.
It feels completely broken or like I’m doing something wrong

I can walk around and click on things, but that only turns them blue or wiggles a flap, etc. I’ve never seen a checkmark or anything similar, just a blue glow. Some aircraft don’t even do that. I am able, however, to remove covers and chocks etc.
Don’t bother with tyres, they are always in perfect condition. Planes we currently have don’t have wear and tear implemented. Just remove covers, chocks and off you go.
I spent 30 minutes trying to remove the chocks from an Optica. I’ve seen suggestions about the precise angle and distance (“Put your shoulder against the fuselage, then rotate and move as close as you can.”)
Ok, sure, that makes sense, Microsobo!
How about just letting me click on the blue dot!!!
I spent an hour today getting frustrated with the walkaround not working. I have the legacy interaction set (which despite the name would be better called desktop mouse mode vs modern which is really game controller mode).
It turns out that legacy interaction works fine, but you need to know to click on the item itself that you are inspecting, not on the blue dot icon, and I had no idea about that.
It’s obvious in modern interaction because it highlights the clickspot in blue, but legacy doesn’t highlight it. This is fine, I don’t want it highlighted, I just had to learn that the blue dot is an indicator and not something you click. Instead you may need to click directly on a tyre or a brake caliper, etc.
Just leaving this here so that the next person who struggles with it and finds this thread can learn the solution. If in doubt just temporarily switch back to modern interaction to learn the clickspots and then legacy works great.
