Hi there, Do you guys think your addicted to MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024? Which sim do you use the most?
I know there’s another thread about being addicted, But it’s locked… And this is an updated thread…
Not sure this question is relevant for Xbox users.
Yes it is, I just added XBOX in my title
Rhetorical. 2024 seems N/A to Xbox, currently.
Thats hard to say but i can definitely confirm that im addicted to constantly adjusting the sim to try to make it playable
Some people watch TV 8+ hours a day. I’d rather sim. (2020 only, but irrelevant.)
Anything faster than 200kts forget about it right airlines are a nope fast jets speeds and issue but ga planes you can have a beautiful flight
Not any more. There was a long period where I found every chance I could to get a flight in. Sometimes a GA flight, or a bush trip leg, or an overnight airline long haul. Constantly upgrading peripherals. Buying add ons. Trying VR.
Now I would say my playtime is at its lowest point ever since I purchased 2020. Also sold a lot of hardware.
I was an early adopter of 2024 but got a refund, and I don’t have a strong desire to jump in again.
MSFS 2024 and yes. Of all flight sims currently installed on my PC (MSFS 2024, MSFS 2020, X-Plane 12, DCS, and IL-2 Great Battles) MSFS 2024 is by far the most used these days. Flying on VATSIM during events which happen virtually all the time is incredibly fun.
I was addicted, I “wasted” over 2,300hrs in FS2020 and 340hrs in FS2024 :). But it all stopped about a month ago, when I got addicted to another flightsim title.
I’m addicted to MSFS 2024. I fly with Say Intentions, and On Air airline manager. I have been flight simming since 2002, and have been addicted ever since.
DCS or Paperplane Sim?
Hell no, I just fly online 5 times a week, scroll all the forums for flightsim news, can’t wait for certain planes to release, search for exciting flightsim news on Youtube, bought a 4090, spent thousands on add-ons … no, no, no, certainly not addicted.
Well, then I’m definitely not addicted. Only do updates in 2020, flew a bit to test some new hardware or to demo the sim to a neighbour. Last mzrketplace purchase was January 10th. Saving more than $250 a month by no longer buying marketplace.
I’ve been simming on 2020 only for 4 years and only have 500 hours flight time. Is that addiction? Is that even a lot or little?
I bet I have spent 5 times that on settings, peripherals, troubleshooting, actual non flying sim related stuff.
