Does anyone have a gaming mouse that works in the sim?

I have a Corsair Dark Core RGB wireless mouse. The only Windows driver I can find is iCue. In the sim I only see a generic mouse, and the extra buttons on my mouse can’t be mapped (because they aren’t even recognized.) I saw another thread on this and some people who have gaming mice reported their problems were fixed with a manufacturer’s driver. No such luck for me.

So my question is: Does anyone have a wireless gaming mouse (or any mouse) with at least six buttons that MSFS recognizes and can map commands to?

Maybe a Microsoft Sidewinder? I’m willing to buy any mouse that does what I need.

I have a Logitech G700S that works like a champ! This model is no longer available, but all the other Logitech models will work just fine. I use the Logitech Gaming Software to assign keystrokes to buttons, and Bob’s your uncle!

I have no issues with my Razer Mamba on PC and Xbox.

I use my Razer Basilisk Ultimate and have configured the buttons via Razor Synapse.

Another vote for Razer Mamba.

The current Logitech G502 and G502X also work OK with the G-Hub software.

Do you just connect it and the buttons are mappable in MSFS? Or do you map keystrokes using the Razer software?

I suppose I could try mapping keystrokes with iCue on my mouse. I’m hoping to not have to do that.

The sim only recognizes base mouse functions — left/right/mid click, mouse wheel up/down and the X/Y axis.

Mouse keys beyond those are treated as a keyboard input via Windows. I use the Razer Synapse software to map additional functions to the extra buttons beyond the base mouse functions.

Thanks. I just mapped External Camera Freelock to a keyboard combination (ALT+f) and then mapped that keystroke to the center mouse button using iCue. Worked perfectly. I appreciate the help, guys.
