Does anyone here play on a 1650?

Hey community,

Who here plays on a system with a GTX 1650? If so, I’d like some info?

-How much FPS do you get?
-Do you stutter?
-If you fly on vatsim do you lag more than usual?

I’m just trying to see if I can improve my settings as I’m averaging 20 fps.

Hello, I have a friend who has a gtx1650 and it runs great in high on FS2020 at 1080p in 30 fps equivalents, it has no stutter aside from sometimes in a big scene, if you optimize well your pc there will be no problem to run mfs

I had misunderstood your question, do you know how to send me a screen of your task manager or of your fps from the developer menu?

Topic moved into #self-service:pc-hardware where it’s better placed for further advice.

I have that chip in a laptop. I have mix of high and low settings that usually gets me in the 30 FPS range:

V-Sync > Off
Anti-Aliasing > TAA
Terrain LOD > 100
Off Screen Terrain Pre-caching > High
Terrain Vector Data > Medium
Buildings > Medium (there’s no difference after that)
Trees > High
Grass/Bushes > High
Objects LOD > 50
Clouds > Ultra
Texture Resolution > Low
Anisotropic Filtering > 4x
Texture Supersampling > 4x4
Texture Synthesis > Low
Water Waves > High
Shadow Maps 2048
Terrain Shadows 128
Contact Shadows > Ultra
Windshield Effects > High (no glass screen reflections)
Ambient Occlusion > Ultra
Reflections > Ultra
Bloom > On
Depth of Field > Off
Lens Correction > Off
Lens Flare > Off
Glass Refresh Rate > High

Is everything on high??? What’s your processor? I have an i5-9300H

You have the same laptop and model I have apart from the processor haha. I’ll try your settings! Your object LOD seems a bit low tho, 50? Doesn’t that look horrible above FL140?

I don’t think so, but then the last thing I flew was FS9. Here’s the video I used to get my initial settings. It was published not long after the initial release, but that just means that controls like glass refresh and pre-caching aren’t there. Grab a cup of coffee plus a pen and paper - it’s long, but it does a great job of showing where the real visual differences are.
