Does anyone know how to refuel the aircraft?

I can see that there is a fuel page in the tablet, but that seems to require me to set up a flight plan–and it has stuff that makes sense for airliners but is totally silly for GA. I’m flying local VFR, I don’t need or want a flight plan. All I want to do is just fuel the aircraft like we could with the old weight and balance page. Surely this is still possible? In this case, I’m trying to refuel after landing so I can keep flying.

Easiest way is while in flight, “F” on the keyboard will fill up and repair any damage.

Thanks. I was hoping to fill on the ground and be able to control how many gallons I’m adding.

I found it burried in the tablet. Posted the answer here: Adjusting Payload/Fuel on the gorund (MSFS2024) - User Support Hub / Aircraft & Systems - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

That page doesn’t do the refueling. There is still a weight and balance page like in 2020, it is just well hidden. Let’s see if it will let me copy my answer now: In the tablet go to Aircraft, then select “Flight Performance”. Then “Mass and balance”.

I cant add fuel when i play career mode

The tablet fuel planning page only “sets up” the quantities in each tank. There’s one last step you have to do to actually put fuel in the tank(s): you have to click the “Load In Aircraft” button. It’s basically the same functionality as in the FS20 “Weight and Balance” toolbar menu, but now it’s hidden a couple layers deep in the menu system, and you have to jump through a couple extra hoops to use it.

i cant either. Even with my own company from the hanger. I can set full fuel but it won’t refuel

Thank you for finding this. So far this is the dumbest change I’ve seen for MSFS so far…

gg and thanks.

To refuel the intended way in career mode (not in the tablet), there is unfortunately only one specific point to do so:

  1. Accept a mission and go to the screen before you actually start the mission, where your character stands in the hangar with the plane in the background.
  2. In the top right quarter of the screen, there are two checkmarks with aircraft fuel and, I believe, aircraft condition indicated as ok. Below those two checkmarks are two buttons, the upper one saying something like ‘Manage Aircraft’ or something. Click this button.
  3. This will take you to a screen where you can check the aircraft condition, and by clicking on the respective buttons at the top, aircraft fuel and aircraft insurance.
  4. Click on aircraft fuel, and you will see two circular graphs showing the fuel amount and the total loading situation of the plane. Below the circular graph showing the fuel amount, click on the button saying, I believe, ‘Manage Fuel’ and there you can refuel the tank of your plane against payment of your hard earned credits.

Note: There is an indicator of how much fuel the specific mission requires as a minimum. First of all, this indication is on some planes slightly off, and on other planes completely off. Don’t trust it and go either full or with generous buffer until you know by experiece how much this actual plane really needs for the mission distance. Secondly, even if below the stated minimum, the checkmark in the earlier screen does still show green so you can actually start the mission with insufficient fuel.

EDIT: Adding some pictures for clarity.
