Hi, I do not know if this is where to ask or if this has already been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Asobo or Microsoft plans on making an F model of the F-18? I remember FSX’s Acceleration Pack introduced the F-18C by Captain Sim and they later released the F-18D which was sold separately. So, I was wondering if Asobo or Microsoft had any similar plans?
Of course I don‘t know the answer but I wouldn‘t expect it. For the sake of an MSFS default aircraft the E and F model are the same aircraft. One seat more or less is a visual change, the differences in performance or fuel flow are negligible for the use in MSFS. Their point was to release the top gun dlc with the possibility to land on an aircraft carrier and to fly fast. Weapon systems which would probably be a key difference are not simulated anyway. I guess your best bet would be a mod, and probably a better bet as well ^^
