Yes, but expect image quality to drop even more from what VR already suffers.
How so? Isn’t it just another Camera View? Why would that affect image quality? No other camera views do.
I thought so too but apparently the First Person mod FSRealistic implemented comes with a visible degredation of graphics and a fairly large drop in FPS. I don’t know the reason behind this though。
Hmm ok I’ve not heard that at all, other VR users say it works just fine and they never mentioned any quality issues.
I’ve read that even in 2d the image looks like anti aliasing is disabled…I’ve seen hints of this in screen shots…hopefully something they fix
I’ve tried it in 2D at 4K and it looked OK at Duxford airport, better than I was lead to believe actually. Haven’t tried it in VR yet though.

Devs are aware of the issue and say its an SDK limitation.

The AA issue with it isn’t great but its not totally awful either. Its very much in early beta as far as I can see, just to give people an idea of how it could work. I guess the FS realistic team want to see how popular it potentially would be before they throw in many hours developing it.
If all the issues can be ironed out then it has a lot of potential, both in 2D and VR for sure.
