Does the G3000 system in MSFS have autopilot coupled VNAV system like the G1000 does?
With the G1000 you can manually enter an altitude for a specific waypoint, and the plane’s autopilot will automatically follow the descent path to that waypoint. Does the G3000 have this feature as well?
Yes it does. It requires proper setup, which functions very similarly to the G1000, though touch screen based.
Once set up it’s crucial to select the vnav button and have the altitude select at a lower altitude to initiate the descent.
Aircraft without auto throttle (I believe in the sim only the SF50 has both the G3000 and auto throttle) you’ll have to remember to bring that back.
