Xbox X. I woke up and surprisingly the game was ready. Basic settings and free flight around the home. H125 helicopter. I couldn’t get hotas one to work. About an hour flight using the xbox controller. The world doesn’t look bad. I liked tall objects. Better than 2020. It has potential. Then a second flight attempt with a Cessna 152, CTD on the runway. And the traditional Login queue 0% follows.

Just let folks gripe, you’re not going to persuade us to simply stay off the forums when it’s one of the worst rollouts in gaming history, at least at this scale. Some folks have $200 on the sim already. And yes Asobo probably has some fault in it somewhere too, if not this, something else. Sorry to say but this thing has had symptoms of poor project management for a while, similar to several situations in 2020. That said, hope they are able to get it straightened out. From what I saw today in my hour in the cockpit around 11am…it was disheartening.
After 3 hours in line, I went back in with the hope that the terrible appearance that everything had had improved… and the pixels of the scenary were in charge of responding

Doh, thank you. Managed to get past that after playing the ‘guess where the mouse pointer is’ game for a few minutes. Now I’m stuck on the 97% bit like most other people.
Nope, still stuck at 97%, they need to issue another update because they clearly haven’t fixed the issue.
After 20 Minutes of 98% loading i came into the game but no Flight is possible cause it wont load into anything… Now 19h since release and i still did not had 1 Plane in the air
This exactly, I’ve finally managed to get into the game, can view all the menus etc, but I cant actually fly. The scenery never loads and no free flight ever starts, just never ending circle rolling round and I never actually get to see a plane or my chosen start location.
Same with the career mode, cant do that either because I cant load anything to actually fly.
This is totally unacceptable by MS. Did they only rent enough bandwidth for half the purchases or something? Server bandwidth is kinda important for a game that needs to be streamed!!!

Yes its a disaster… and its clearly far far worse launch than 2020.
I bet even when the servers will get better today we have to start the sim again to be confronted with another “Stuck at 98%” screen

Not yet, I seem to get a little further each time, with a new loading screen. But actual hands on game time…nada!
When will the servers get better though, are they waiting for half the purchasers to get bored and refund it so the servers can cope lol??
They clearly have way over-estimated how many people want to play this.
I managed to get as far as the airport selection… after about 20 min, half the airport had rendered in, and it allowed me to press ACCEPT, then it got stuck again.
This is nuts lol. Brand new flight sim and I cant even get into a plane.

MSFS2020 is affected by this too. Sluggish and almost unplayable. That doesn’t look good for the coming weeks (months?). I thought I was smart avoiding this predictable mess, but it seems we’re stuck with it either way.
Really? Yesterday MSFS2020 was pretty fine to play.
Yes, i managed to do circuits around my local airport with DA40 / Cesna too. Had to keybind everything but it’s ok now.
Tried B737M on LSGG but Crashed to desktop
Now the Start Flight Button is greyed out…WOW … what a great job you did MS… even Solar Crown Launch was better
