Don't see the new HUD option: "propeller lever notch in the external HUD"

Description of the issue: don’t see this new option displayed in the external HUD

Continuing the discussion from Release Notes - SU6 Beta 1.8.8.0 - July 16, 2026:

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? always

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. select an aircraft with a propeller lever
  2. enable the external HUD (minimal or full)
  3. spawn at an airport
  4. go to external view, there is no information about propeller lever position

I gave it a try with the 208 and don’t see anything in the external view that seems to reflect the prop control position using all combinations of minimal and max views for “HUD in external view” and “minimap in external view”. I moved the prop control several times to see if that would drive any change in the displays, but I didn’t see any changes.

Perhaps it is an option you have to enable in the assistances menu?

There is no new option in the Assistances menu related to the HUD.
There is one new option in Flight interface menu related to the external HUD but it is for the minimap only:
