Once creating my flight plan using SimBrief and loading it into the A320 the flight show as a green dotted line, not solid green as it should. I have read that could mean I am in HDG mode and not NAV mode however I have tried everything and can’t seem to get it right. I am using a Honeycomb Bravo so I have both HDG/NAV switches on the throttle but they don’t seem to change anything. I am hoping someone can assist me in getting my issue resolved?
Have you selected and inserted the departure (and arrival) and checked your route?
I always press it after selecting the flight director when i start taxiing and then it becomes a solid line.
The yellow line shows the selected sid, you just have to confirm the selection by pressing “insert” on the bottom right of the fmc.
Departure and arrival are not imported with simbrief, you’ll have to do the same for the star when the you’ll have the runway and approach to your destination given by the atc .
Do you also have initialized the data in the MCDU?
