Storage isnt a problem, I just want to download the thing and play, not stream it constantly dealing with rubbish texture pop ins and pop ups all the time. xD
Downloading is what streaming is. If you are asking if they are cached so once they are down, you won’t get that message again as long as you fly in the same area. Then yes, its cached.
Once our street finally got the FTTN to FTTP upgrade I went to Launtel so I went from 24mb to a 1gbit connection. It has been some time since our internet really sucked for many of us. Maybe see if you can get the free fibre upgrade. If you can, there is no reason not to do it.
Its a joke man. To read “downloading is what streaming is”. No not the same. The 1st one you had the option to download before you ever got in game. The wording if your correct ..holy Jesus. .. .MS can’t be this stupid. NO ONE that has played the alpha told us any of this?
Seems like they didn’t add the ability to download content in the latest patch? Can anybody else confirm there is still no ability to download content?
Another problem is that there is only 1 chache file for world data and the other data packages. If so, then there should be a corresponding division into 2 cache files.
Download tab in marketplace does not exist, nor does the download option below. Do i need SU3 to see this? I restarted MSFS2024 many times.. Does it not update automatically…
I signed up for insider and did the rest, yet no update/did not notice a difference, and still no download options.
Uninstalled and downloaded whole thing again, so why don’t i see downloads tab and download options and why is this not a little more straight forward..?
Sadly, we never actually buy software; all we buy is the right to use it (as long as it is made available, which can change on the whim of the developers).
I know what you mean.
Still, I could originally download it, now I cannot.
In theory, I could download MSFS2020, download it there and transfer it, but this is not “plug and play”
Too many factors for anyone here to advise. Try streaming as it takes up almost no space. If that is giving you poor performance because of your internet, try downloading the assets you’re using and see if you get better performance.
Sorry guys, perhaps you misunderstood. I meant downloading some of the SIM which is available in the my library like an airport or a plane since the Beta SU3. Not the entire MSFS 2024 - so to speak just those parts they have enabled for us to download now as well as the streamed part.
