Having this issue once again… disabled services, flushed cache, changed DNS to Cloudflare, updated Realtek drivers. No luck. Sigh. It’s taking 30 years to download 1GB.
Well, I unplugged my ethernet cable and on WiFi I got 30mbits+ vs. my 5 mbits on ethernet. How can that be? Bad ethernet cable?
It could be a bad cable, or as it was here, MS had and issue with my Intel nework adapter. Once I discovered the issue, I did the fix (install the oem drivers instead of the MS ones) and my speeds are faster on ethernet then wifi.
So lookup the make/model of your nic, and see if there isnt an issue with the drivers.
