Dramatic recession of trees

Anyone else experiencing a sudden issue with trees and foliage in msfs 2024? The last couple of days they are missing in the billions all over the world. Places I know for a fact were covered in dense vegetation are now mostly ground texture. Since I’m on the Xbox Series X I’m not able to make any changes myself. I even reinstalled the game and inactivated certain addons to rule out malfunctioning files and compatability issues. Apart from the ground sim everything is streamed. Right now I’m all out of ideas, because I’m assuming the issue would have been addressed by now if it was due to an update in the streamed content?

which areas are you referring to so others can see if it occurs for them too?

As far as I can tell it uniformly affects the whole map, but an example is Tahiti. A week ago it was all vegetation and foliage, now there’s not a single spot on the island where I can’t see the forest floor. The trees are literally 30 feets apart. I have no idea what’s going on. Perhaps it somehow has switched to a “map” optimized for Xbox Series S although I’m on an Xbox Series X. Not sure how that could happen though?

Never mind, I finally managed to identify the problem. I thought the addon was inactivated, but the culprit seems to be “Smaller trees global”. Whether it’s an update that’s gone awry or sudden comaptability issues, I can’t tell, but now it is back to normal, thank god!
