Yes

Brief description of the issue:

Default drone camera have a very large deadzone and starts moving or rotating with non-zero speed. It excludes ability to control it precisely and, for example, make a smooth external video of your aircraft.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Set any controller/gamepad axis to control any drone axis - yaw/pitch/roll/x/y/z and try to move drone as slowly as your device allow. It will not move anywhere until input value reach large numbers.
Same effect can be seen if you will set mouse movement for any drone axis and will try to move pointer very slowly - drone will be still.
If you will move your mouse a little bit rapidly - drone will start to move or rotate (depends on mouse bindings) “in jerks”, with interruptions. It shows, that camera control in MSFS have a bug.
Also, by my opinion, this bug can be easily overrided with any external camera control software, such as EZdok, but for MSFS2020 it still not exist.

No

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

I use an Xbox 360 wired USB controller to manage the drone camera, configured as shown in the screenshots below. Changing the Drone speed, I can set the drone to move as slowly or as fast as required. Setting the speed to zero stops the drone from moving at all.

Hm, i did set sensitivity and camera settings just like on your screenshots, except deadzone (it was so much worse than before) and camera speed (to show the bug more clearly, with speed=1 it is hard to notice), but the bug is still on the place.

Result is on the videos:

As you can see, camera have “native” deadzone and starts to move very roughly and sharply - with large amount of speed. Second video shows better, that i can’t to control camera with precision. Sticks are moving slowly from neutral during whole test.

Can you try to reproduce bug with a joystick or mouse? I’m sure, you will get the same result.

Can you check your drone camera behaviour with similar config of sensitivity?
I want to confirm, is this bug happens only on my system, or it is a global problem. Otherwise, i will completely reinstall my system and simulator to remove it.
Also i found this topic, thit bug looks as same as that: Trying to move the drone camera with precision

Hi @Gershwinmi7,
I’ll try to do this, but not sure when. Due to extreme temperatures where I live at this time of year, I have to limit my time on MSFS to when it is cool enough in the house for the PC & TVs to operate safely.
