Drone Camera Keeps Spinning w/ No Input on Xbox Controller

When using an Xbox controller to control the drone camera, the camera continues to spin after a few seconds even when I am not giving it any inputs. I have tried to adjust dead zones and disconnecting other peripherals but it keeps happening. At one point when I switched to another monitor, the controller was moving the mouse cursor in the same way but that stopped after I restarted the controller.

Anyone able to fix this? Settings in the video:

This occasionally happens with my Xbox 360 controller. I have to nudge the right joystick to recenter it. In my case, it is a hardware issue - I think the springs (?) that keep the joystick centered are weakening slightly after years of use.

The controller is less than a year old and this only happens on MSFS. Once in a while, I even have the issue with the Thrustmaster Boeing yoke but recentering a few times tends to fix it. I’ve tried to set everything back to defaults but it still happens.
