Duplicate tower frequencies for LSZH and LSMD

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Built-in ATC (comm tool) has duplicated tower frequency 118.975 across LSZH and LSMD which are adjacent airports. This appears to be causing confusion with ATC in that area e.g. traffic landing at LSZH transmitting on 118.975 and LSZH tower tuned via 127.755 in the “nearest airport list” (with no AI transmissions at all).

IRL the typical tower frequency for LSZH is 118.100 and LSMD is on 118.975.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Make sure real time online traffic is enabled and there is some AI traffic for LSZH (inbound, outbound, taxiing)

  2. Fly over LSMD in any aircraft

  3. Select the communication tool from the toolbar

  4. Select “Nearest Airport List”

  5. Select “[ (LSMD) ]”

  6. Select “[ Tune Dubendorf Tower on 118.975 ]”

  7. Hear ATC comms for AI traffic at LSZH (e.g. landings on runway 28, which is non-existent at LSMD)

  8. YOUR SETTINGS

Dubendorf (118.975) is listed as a tower frequency for LSZH in the real world navdata, so that part is correct. The Swiss put their eAIP behind a paywall so I can’t check what it says, but I expect that LIDO (based in Zurich) got it right. Unfortunately there is no notion of a “main” tower frequency either in real world navigation data, nor MSFS, so it can use any of them.

I am not sure why it lost the .005 on LSMD, and that airport should also have 119.700 as a tower frequency. Indeed I see that in my own sim. Are you sure you don’t have a third party scenery for this one that is overriding the frequencies?

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Indeed, I had a custom pack installed which was overriding LSMD (my bad - I updated the info in the first post).

However, after removing it 119.700 is still not listed as a second tower frequency for LSMD (according to the info on the EFB) and it doesn’t change the fact that 118.975 is duplicated across LSZH and LSMD which - I believe - causes funny stuff to happen like landing AI traffic at LSZH transmitting on 118.975 and LSZH tower appearing as 127.755 in the “nearest airport list” with nothing but silence…
