DX12 update. News and performance

Time for a new GPU my friend.

The most dreaded phrase in 2021.

After skimming the rooftops of London at fps 45+ and LOD 200 in a Toprudder Solo I’ve come to the conclusion that beyond the melted Bing PG it’s only really some of the hand built elements that are causing a crazy popping eyesore (especially the all glass ones). Call me ignorant but won’t DX12 be the perfect tool to fix them?

Bring it on!!!

So just the implementation of DX12 will not necessarily do any of the things he mentioned. However, is the CPU load is offloaded to the GPU hardware. It would be highly likely that Asobo could elevate the complexity of the sim model.

It may or may not be there plan.

1080 Ti is well ready for DX12.

It’s been waiting, tongue out for it.

Check your Software and just, like, forget P3D - that piece of code has nothing to do with how renders will happen in MSFS.
