Can we please get the option of upgrading to Deluxe/Premium or Aviator Edition on Steam and on their actual prices? The fact that even though I have the Standard one and I can still put the Deluxe edition in my cart and buy it means that I could access the content now. Also I got the Standard as a Gift so I’m not sure if I can refund and buy the Deluxe or Aviator Edition. Basically since the game is at 80€ and the Deluxe is at 140€ I assume that the upgrade itself is at 60€. Unless I’m wrong the upgrade only costs 140€?

The refund question seems to be more of a Steam related issue.
I also don’t think you’ll be able to upgrade it, because (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) it was actually planned that you can buy the planes of the other versions individually in the store if you only own the standard version.
So let’s say you have the standard version, but want to fly the Cessna 195 from the Aviator Edition, for example, then you could buy it individually in the in-game store.
But as the store is still closed, you will have to wait unfortunately.
If you buy another version now, you’ll probably just waste your money.
But as I said, that’s just my understanding of the whole thing, I may be wrong.

In the Microsoft store, upgrades are listed but not active for 2024. I believe 2020 offered upgrades even for game pass members, at the risk of loosing your upgrade if you canceled your subscription.

Hey, i was a new player when i bought the game on steam, and now that i am hooked i do want to upgrade from my standard edition to premium deluxe but the only way of doing this atm is to buy the complete game with premium deluxe.
Would it be possible to make it an option too upgrade via the steam store? Like several other games, you can buy the standard edition then later upgrade it via the steam store.

I know this doesn’t help you right now but after the Marketplace is released (currently estimated to be coming with the release of SU1) you should be able to purchase edition upgrades from the in-sim Marketplace
