EFB: Does not remember all settings

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

The new EFB in MSFS2024 does not store / forgets about the following settings:

  • Favorites: I have to add Navigraph to the bottom bar each and every flight
  • Weight unit: I have to change to KG every time
  • Volume unit: Liters not saved

  1. Select anything others than the default units in settings
  2. Go back to menu and configure a new flight / activity
    3.Find units reverted back to default

Is it on the same aircraft or on different aircraft? I noticed that each aircraft has its own EFB configuration. Which in theory makes sense. If it is on different aircraft, I believe the action is correct.

Some settings are indeed persisted but these ones get forgotten always. In the same plane or chopper.

Plus German translation of “Volume” is wrong. Should be “Volumen” instead of “Lautstärke”. Lautstärke literally means “volume” - but in the way of “volume level” (sound)…

I’ve noticed this too. There is no saving of EFB preferences. In my case on a 4k screen the EFB is tiny so I usually go for med or large, but it never remembers this between flights or sim sessions. It would be good if it remebered these things. Just a QOL isssue.

Yes… everytime I need to reconfigure the EFB.

Cruise altitude always resets too.

Also the main map settings don’t save either. Have to turn heliports off every time.

Yes this is very annoying. Really wish it remembered the last tablet size that was selected in the settings.

Also worth to mention: The size (small/medium/large) and layout (vertical/horizontal) is not persisted either.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Settings on the EFB don’t save, every time I want to load the aircraft I have to go and change the units for example on the EFB. This is super annoying, in an already infuriating user interface. Why can’t these settings just be tied to the main settings I choose?

I want weights and fuel in KGs, all the time, globally. If I want some other unit, I will change it in the settings.

Yes issue is present on vanilla sim.

  1. Change the settings in EFB for example to KG for weight
  2. Next time you open the EFB for next flight, units will be back to LBS
    3.Next time open sim and EFB units back to LBS.

Why can I not save the changes I make to the Units in the Settings Page of the EFB.
I want to save weights in KG, Fuel in Litres and Centigrade, but, I have to change the settings everytime I launch FS2024

Same here for me as a PC user, I want it to keep it in kg and L but it keeps changing back every time!

I cant seem to save my flights to my pc with the new EFB.

And also when I click ’ Find route ', sometimes it does and there are other times it doesnt f8nd everything, even though i use the same route as reference for flight setups and fmc setups.

If anyone else has these issues or know how to fix it, dont hesitate to leave a comment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So far, the only thing I have been enjoying is the beautiful intro of the game, but otherwise, I don’t know.

The developers still have a long and a lot of work to do to optimize the core game, meaning, without any addons.

Sorry for being so blunt,but im just saying whats on my mind.
