EFB missing ILS frequencies for airports without a LIDO chart

Not sure if this is a known issue, if this is a bug or this should go into wishlist (I think it would be ridiculous to have this in wishlist since it was in FS2020 and it’s basic navaid).

I haven’t found a way to find the ILS frequency for airports that don’t have a LIDO chart. Previously in 2020 you opened the VFR map and you could grab the ILS frequency for any airport that had ILS.

In 2024 the only flight interface is the EFB, and I can’t find where the ILS freqs are for airports that do not have a LIDO chart (SADF for example). Actually the airport info in the EFB doesn’t show any navaid freq (shows comms frequencies). You either have to open the chart, if there is one, or well, you don’t have the info.

Am I missing something? Is this a bug?

Thanks!
Seb

It’s not a bug. They use LIDO, that’s it.

It’s very incomplete (how much depends on your location) compared to Jeppesen so many of us still have to subscribe to Navigraph.

But it was info available in 2020, what the… ? I mean, now we have less info to carry on a given flight?

I fly to a lot of airports that do not have a LIDO chart but have ILS (well not a lot, but a bunch), and I had the info in 2020.

How come this is a step backwards?

There are more charts in the Flight Planner here

I do not understand why the Flight planner from WT has more charts than the EFB has.

Still, we’ve lost information in relation to MSFS2020.

I’m not sure if this should go to wishlist, zendesk or bug, because it’s showing bad info (missing ILS frequencies for airports which actually have ILS).

In 2020 you had the correct info:

Which matched correctly the real info:

However in 2024 EFB or Planner, there’s no information:

What’s weird, and I’ll file it as a bug, is that planner does show the procedure (and the frequencies):

So… another bug :frowning:
