Since SU2 Beta V.1.4.9.0 the EFB works now in VR but there are two, the biggest one in your face works
And you still cant move it out of your face
- I have the same issue and the EFB is not resizable
- The scale of the EFB is incorrect (it looks smashed down and does not keep itās original size so Iām not able to properly navigate the menus because thereās no way to rescale/resize it.
Are you sure? The release notes said you have to undock it then you can move it. The little arrow icon button at the top right maybe?
Yeah so it works now and you can move it but the ability to expand it and resize the UI is not available so Iām stuck with a zoomed in EFB that I canāt navigate because the UI is squished.
Undock it from where? I chose a plane specifically that doesnt have it in a holder.
I have the same thing happening for me. The small EFB is not clickable, but the large one is and I can select all the menus. It would be nice the get rid of the small EFB and just have one showing in VR.
This is still not working for me at all.
Using either the button in the toobar or a Toggle EFB keybind creates the EFB beyond the windscreen, which is unclickable either with mouse or pointer. This is exactly the same as I had before the update.
In those aircraft with built-in EFB, it does work for flight-planning etc, but toggling it puts me in the same situation as above.
I am in the beta, and updated to 1.4.9.
Bigger one (duplicate) is movable but he other one isnt. So you can only make it bigger front of smaller one.
I donāt know. Not on the sim for a few days to try myself but what did they mean by this in the notes then?

Yep itās a good start but still plenty of work to do to make it fully acceptablly useable.

Now there are 2 of them. The bigger one is interactable (but canāt zoom in/out with quest3 controller, even though panel zoom in/out axis is set to right stick up/down) the smaller one is not interactable.
The bigger one is distroted regardless of size setting.

And itās working really well with mouse or Quest3 controllers. You can even move EFB to any position. Thanks for this awaited feature There is one small bug however, EFB is displayed twice and only one of them is active.
Itās working but I wouldnāt describe it as working well, the Toolbar one displays two screens, the main window you can move is skewed and hard to read. When you click the arrow it hides the smaller one but then you canāt move the big one and itās stuck, the default aircraft with EFBs now work but the suction pad still highlights behind when you mouse over.
A nice start but still plenty to fix during this beta.
Bizarre that they would push this with glaring errors. I mean, do it or donāt do it. Why would they require users to ātestā something as obviously wrong as that, when 3 mins of their own time (if they even own a single VR headset) would show they still need to make some changes before putting it out. Even in a Beta.
Donāt get me wrong, Iām glad they are working on it! And happy to seemingly be proved wrong as I thought they would never deem it important to actually be able to move it around in 3D space. Because they donāt actually fly as a hobby, so donāt really know what we need or how we like to use this stuff.
Can you put it low down and to the side (like on the passenger seat)?
Mods, if i buy you a few quest 3ās, could you possibly do this right? It appears not a single dev has access to a VR headset. Its the ONLY way to explain how this is still jacked upā¦
Still lose all mouse ability after coming back in from menu. Killed 3rd party addins like Sky4Sim. Can bring toolbar up no problem now, performance however much much better with foveated rendering - getting 45-50 FPS, sub 50ms latency, on Godlike / 4080 everything else in VR - like no tablet function - still as foobarād as it was at launch.
