EFB still not clickable in VR!

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:When in VR mode, you cant use the EFB from the toolbar and click with mouse, No clickspots are working.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta? YES

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?YES

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?EVERYTIME

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1.Go in to a flight in VR
2.Click on the EFB icon on the toolbar
3.Try to click on the EFB and see its not working.

What peripherals are currently plugged in, as well as your VR headset? Please name all of them as there could be a potential conflict.

This is one of the most egregious VR bugs and impacts every VR user. Why has it still not been fixed four months after release?

Most of us would gladly exchange it for “Fixed inverted “IN-FLIGHT UI PANEL - ZOOM AXIS” on VR controllers” shown in the SU2 notes.

This is just completely unacceptable!

While I agree that this should be fixed - there is a workaround that works well from my limited testing yesterday: Temporary VR EFB Solution with Custom inGamePanel

That’s not working in this beta, besides we should’bt have to continuously rely on the community to fix simple issues with this franchise.

Totally not understandable, why these simple but fundamental bugs are not fixed yet. Also the mouse click not working after returning from ingame pause menu is still not fixed.

Personally I’ve come to the end of my “benefit of the doubt” period, my steam review has been changed back to negative and will stay that way until the VR problems are addressed.

Thing is even if they fix that you can click it, you just KNOW that they won’t make it so you can move it in the cockpit in 3D and it stays there (on the seat or wherever). Let alone being able to resize it.

Same here, still no EFB in VR with SU2 beta.

Also, the bug that we still can’t control anything with the mouse after returning from the in-game menu persists.

When MSFS2024 was released, the new EFB was advertised as a key feature. The new sim also was advertised as VR compatible.

They promised to fix VR in SU2.

Here we are - 4 months and 2 major Software Updates later - and still no EFB in VR, plus fundamental mouse control issues.

This is false advertising at its best, and disrespectful towards their customers who fly in VR.

I’ll give them one more week to fix these key features before demanding a refund.

Such a disappointment. Here’s hoping its due in an imminent patch because this is unacceptable; to lock so much of the game behind the EFB and then not have it accessible is game breaking, and its been this way for months. It’s crazy.

Does only work in freeflight sadly. Career it does not work for me

It’s not only toolbar EFB, the planes own EFB is allmoust same. You can in flightplan page roll it up and down, tablet bottom there is five icons clikkable but you cant do anything else! Microsobo NOT LIKE THIS!
