EFB zoom broken

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: In previous versions, you could zoom in on the map much more than you can now. This affects career mode in the aerial app, as you can’t zoom in on the terrain and see where the spraying is occurring.

Same here in VR, couldn’t zoom in far enough to see where I was spraying.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Can’t zoom in far enough anymore on the EFB map.

When flying agricultural missions, our only way to see the spray coverage was the EFB map (as Asobo won’t let us use free and realistic mods in career mode, such as the https://flightsim.to/file/89968/agriculture-sat-nav-and-light-bar)

To actually see something, we have to zoom in until the field being sprayed fills the EFB screen.

This is not possible anymore, the zoom level is limited, at maximum zoom the typical field is a tiny rectangle on the screen, and the spray coverage is not discernible.

It is the case with 1.6.7.0, I missed the previous SU4 updates. It was working fine in SU3.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Start a spraying mission with the H125

  2. Fly to the field

  3. Try to zoom in so the field fills the screen using the mouse scroll wheel

(You can just hop in any aircraft and try zooming in and see it is limited)

the max zoom level of the EFB has ben reduced too much. difficult do see taxiways and other details on the map

No, sorry for the confusion.

My post was directed toTjoksan. His post was orginallt a topic and it got merged into this topic :slight_smile:

This appears to be fixed in 1.6.11.0

It is fixed only if using the mouse. If using joystick buttons assigned to the commands “EFB Zoom In/Out”, these do NOT work!
