EFB zoom not functioning Xbox version

A bug found in the Xbox version that hasn’t been fixed with SU4 is that zooming with the mouse wheel doesn’t always achieve the desired effect within the EFB map! Often, rotating the wheel with the pointer inside the EFB leaves the zoom level unchanged.

I’m on Xbox X, SU4 and use the EFB with a mouse. I haven’t experienced a single time where the mouse wheel has failed to zoom the map.

I’d like to clarify a point I made regarding this report: in 60-70% of cases, the scroll wheel zooms the map correctly, especially when accessing the EFB and the flight plan graphical representation app for the first time. The “frozen” zoom problem occurs more often after several EFB consultations, using the TAB key to open and close the EFB. Evidently, repeatedly opening the EFB causes data to accumulate, resulting in this strange freezing effect. Occasionally, very rarely, when the mouse pointer is inside the EFB window, scrolling the scroll wheel doesn’t zoom the map, but rather zooms the main view! As if the cursor were “under” the EFB display.

Usage looks very similar to mine. I have a key on my FlightStick assigned to EFB but other than that the same kind of usage. Multiple openings and closings during a flight, either for zooming in and out of the main map page for casual flying, or the partial map at the bottom of the flight plan screen in portrait mode for more serious flying. As I said before, I’ve never had an issue when zooming with the mouse wheel.

Sorry you’re having issues but if it’s a bug it certainly isn’t affecting me on Xbox X.
