Hi,
I haven’t had a chance since FS2024 launch to really test airliners and were using small planes without too much trouble, able to do great low flying, ajusting my med range as per FS2024 spec requirements. But I like flying big tubes since FS98 and now I struggle to get good FPS with the A320 and A330 (not tested the others exept briefly the 737 and it was not better). I know Inibuild has not optimised their planes much but still, it is not much better with the TBM, so screen avionics maybe part of the issue. For example, I get 10 FPS less with the A330 than with the Xcub in a medium airport.
I made this test in EGLL (would like to fly CYUL - EGLL as I was doing for transatlantic flights in FS2020) and realised that even with a fresh increaed RAM from 16 to 32, I will stay around 15-20 FPS, almost not playable. I like also EDDF and it’s worst. Touchdown after a 6 hrs flight will probably be bad at low fps. 32G improved situation by avoiding an almost frozen or crashed sim.
Now is it normal that all my RAM is not used and VRAM also?
Am I forced to decrease settings? (I’ve read a lot on the forum for tricks)
I’m interested in getting the Frame gen mod maybe.
Uninstall Nvidia app may also help.
This test is made with CPU overclocked with Alienware control center from Dell.
Laptop used with larger screen usualy (and scale ajusted to get around 25-30 fps).
Intel(R) Core™ i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
32.0 Go RAM (installed last week, from a 16G)
RTX 2060 6GB
DLSS 4, Balanced
All setting to medium except:
Trees and clouds to High
Terrain LOD to 75
FPS indicated are on the high side since I soon as I moove the mouse, it goes down to 15.
