What can possibly be wrong that I do not see the Eiffel Tower in WU IV?

Fresh install, Community folder empty, rolling cache deleted, Orbx Paris deleted, restarted. Still no Eiffel Tower.

Correction: I initially did, but the deleted the whole lot and did a fresh re-install from Store which seemed to include WU4. A bit confused now… But the update shows up in Content Manager.
And the the Pei Pyramid at the Louvre is visible…
Did you „buy“ the WU4 stuff at the marketplace? Because „it seemed to be included“ is not the case. You will always have to install content delivered by a World Update separately. Just installing the patch is not enough. (Also when doing a clean installation)
You say it shows up in the content manager yet you seem to be confused wether it’s installed or not. That’s why I just want to make sure you really installed it.
Also try emptying your community folder and see if the content shows in game just to make sure it’s not a mod or livery or scenery that’s interfering.
Thanks for your help! My memory tells me that France/Benelux was included when doing a fresh download, I did not need to download USA, Japan or France/Benelux separately.
All these packages are in the Content Manager now, installed, with alle the new (incl. French) POI’s and the Community folder is empty. Still, the Eiffel Tower is a kind of blurry, nervously twittering ghost with a much smaller power tower in its place.
Check your marketplace looks like this when you filter on “free content” on the left - make suire it says “installed” on the world update IV tile:
If that’s OK, check bing data and photogrammetry are turned on
All checked and set. Strange thing is that all the other POI’s seem to show up (didn’t check all of them) incl. Pei Pyramid and Arc de Triomphe but not the Eiffel Tower.
And before anyone asks, I have a 1 Gb/s connection (effectively mostly 250 Mb/s) and tried with Rolling Cache on and off.
Well, I have exactly the same problem. All POI’s are visible except Eiffeltower. It was already like that before the upgrade WU IV

Do you have the orbx Paris landmarks or other community scenery that might be conflicting?
Mixed scenery, I suspect you’ve got two Eiffel Towers now. I’ve seen issues like that after my rolling cache of London survived the UK update. Make sure you delete your cache also. Switching off will not do the job, at least not in the same session.

Hope so ! Paris without Eiffel Tower is not really Paris 
maybe the tower painting campaign has started, so they took it apart to make it easier

Yes, but “in storage”, nothing in the Community folder nor the Orbx package (did delete it).
I have done the same, I had some third party scenery installed of France - I have deleted them all and checked again… Still no Eiffel tower.
I really don’t know what is wrong here 
Problem fixed!! THe Eiffel tower is back!
Problem is mixed scenery indeed. I had France VFR and landmarks installed. This goes in conflict. Deleted it, cleared my cache, and eveything is fine again.
Nice for you. I did same and tons of other things but still no Eiffel Tower.

The culprit seemed to be VFR Landmarks freeware!
Good to know that you were able to figure it out.
As a best practice, it’s always recommended to clear your community folder after updating to ensure any old addons aren’t conflicting with the new updates.
