When I entered into a flight to show live weather was not working, I then clicked “end flight” and it zoomed me out to the main menu but now there’s nothing to select.
My original flight I did not actually fly, I just stayed at the airport and kept the plane off to show conditions of live weather. I immediately hit pause, then end flight, and this is where I ended up.
had exactly the same problem - would not show mission menu in career, so went back to HQ - no menu there, so went back to Main Menu and no menu there. All i can do is quit.
If its relevant is happened after the mission map has the very slow and boring placing of special mission on the screen (which by the way seems pointless as we dont learn anything)
Hi, looking at your profile it lists you as flying Xbox, is this correct or can you update if now flying PC? Reason I ask is wondering if this defect is PC only or are Xbox pilots experiencing the same. Thanks
I’m on PC. I started out on Xbox a few years ago. I’ll look at my profile to see where I update that.

I’ve also observed this issue. There was nothing unusual about the flight I had just finished but ESCd out of the Free Flight menu to find no options visible, i.e. seems to be a random bug.
I think I’ve found a way of replicating this issue methodically. I believe its when you start a free flight and have set the ‘Map Layer’ set to something other than the default ‘Satellite View’ and then start a flight. I’ve just repeated this 5-6 times and it always ends up with no options once you end that flight. Can anyone confirm?
(Note even if you change it back to ‘Satellite View’ and start a flight it still exhibits the same bug).
This, but on my pc not 100% repeatable. It mostly happens when selecting the all gray map though…
NixieLion you had me worried that my testing regime had not been thorough enough but I do get the bug 100% reproduceable no matter what map I select (either ‘Map View’ or ‘Blend View’) - I wonder what the difference between our systems is?
However my further testing also revealed that if you click on the ‘corrupted’ globe (i.e. now missing the options) and use mouse menu ‘Set as departure’ or ‘Fly Now’ to fly again, on exit from that flight the option are back! Saves re-starting the sim 
Description of the issue:
After a successful flight around EGLL, I exited to the main menu, went to spawn again to test something else. It was then I noticed that all the menus had disappeared. The sim has not locked up, it just has no UI elements.

deactivate one overlay and after end of flight your gone, blank globus

Same issue after free flight. Flight ended with “end flight”, not “back to main menu”.
Had this happen for the first time. It actually started when I went in to configure my aircraft, in the free fliht menu. There were no menu items for liveries, payload, etc. When I backed out, the menu items were gone from the free flight menu as well. I’m on Xbox.
