ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

since the SU2 update, you get penalized more and more for unauthorized entry into the taxiway during the landing. Depending how fast you are still roll out you will get immediatly a 2nd penalty for exceeding taxi speed. Never had this before SU2

Bug is not consistent… most of the time you get penalized (75%) but some times there is no issue (25%).

So far I had it on VIP, passenger and medium cargo missions. Planes: pc-24, b737 max and sky courier. Probably it’s the same with all mission types and planes.

Also note that I don’t use the skip function and do all misdion steps. Getting S rating for each flight easily.

I have not made a screenshot yet but will do that and add to this report later

  1. Start a couple of missions and land on your destination. I should say at least 4 times to get a good baseline because this bug is a bit hit or miss
  2. In my experience 3 out of 4 missions should trigger this bug

• Yes, twice.
First I got the “Aircraft entered taxiway without an announcement” mid-flight 450nm away from the airport.
Second, I got it immediately after landing very much on the destination runway.

• Career Medium Cargo mission with destination Fritzlar Army. After cancelling IFR.

• Upon landing at RWY 08 and crossing the intersection of RWY 04/22, I am getting pinged for entering a taxiway without an announcement, and as a result, I am also getting pinged for taxiway speeding (see below media).

I have the same issue. Even when I manage to slow down enough to not get the penalty when I leave the runway to get to the given hold short point I get the penalty.

• YES

I have the same bug.
On many missions, the aircraft is detected as exiting the runway and entering a taxiway.
And so I get a penalty, either for speeding or for not reporting it to ATC.
It even happens on scientific missions:

Not specific to PC, I have this bug on Xbox S and X.

• Yes. Started to happen after SU2

• After landing once I am close to the end of the runway and ATC is telling me to ‘exit runway when able’ and the blue arrows are guiding me to the hold short area, I am still getting this penalty sometimes even before leaving the runway and sometimes just after leaving the runway towards the hold short point.

Happening in 4 out of 5 passenger transport missions with the B737 Max.

multiple times i got the same penalty on different flight in different missions. landing mid runway and got dinged for taxiway penalty. never had this in SU1 or beta

Having the same issue. Most of the times I land I get a penalty for entering a taxiway while I’m still landing, and then in the final results I also get another penalty for exceeding taxi speed.
This happens only after SU2 update

Maybe it’s just coincidence.
I had no penalty for the last flights. SU2

I have always my taxilights off during landing but I didn’t experience any penalty’s yesterday and did 3 landings. Maybe it’s fixed in the background :thinking:

• I have received this penalty multiple times while still on my rollout shortly after touchdown. This happens while I am still in the runway.

• also I usually get atc saying that I have not acknowledged the past transmission before getting pinged for entering a taxi way,

• Mostly happens when I unfortunately float a little bit, even if it’s just a tilt. I don’t know why that happens.

I think the bug is a phenomenon that occurs at airports that were fixed in SU2. I’ve landed many times since SU2, and this phenomenon sometimes occurs and sometimes doesn’t, so that’s what I thought. Sorry if I’m wrong.

I think you are right… but most of the times it happens at smaller airports for me, these where not listed as fixed i believe. Maybe some general fixes did introduced this bug

I completely agree with you, I mainly do passenger missions so I don’t land at small airports, but I don’t remember it happening at airports with only one runway sometimes. If it happens at small airports too, it could be a common fix.

impossible to get an 100% score due this stupid an unnecessary bug…
Its taking the fun out of career mode

Seems to be different each day :thinking:

Last few days I had no issues at all and today all 3 landings I did it happened all 3 times
