A few pics of the flight if you don’t care to view the vid:

I just can’t get over how Epic this Sim truly is. Each Flight the Visuals leave me in Awe. This time it was over the Dense Area of NYC with some very Tall Rain Clouds that looked like Ominous, yet Gentle Giants watering wide the lands of New York!

MSFS20 is such an amazing experience!

Virga.
Learned a new word today! Thx!
All my life I have been enthralled by these cloud waterfalls and never knew they were called Virga!

Technically that’s just normal rain isn’t it? Virga is supposed to evaporate before it reaches the ground.

Amazing fellow simmer! What were wind speeds?

If I remember correctly, I think around 15-20mph (maybe even 30).

Although, I think the winds are not quite “up to speed” right now as it should have been a bit bumpier. However, the smooth air made for great video image quality.

Nice, so winds are working for you in the US at least over NYC for a better immersion. I always get 225/3 throughout the US

That is 100% correct. The textbook definition of virga is rain that does not touch the ground.

Well the clouds move, but the turbulence is not really there, but man does it still look good!
