HERE IS THE FIX*****
Hi guys I have worked out how to resolve this issue. I had exactly the same problem.
Basically on your PC go to programs>All Apps>XBOX Log out the log in then run MSFS from within the Xbox App and it worked straight away for me.
Not sure but i realized that my system time was completely wrong. After correcting it msfs started instantly.
