'error' installing AAU2 update after leaving beta

Brief description of the issue:

installation doesn’t finish. shows ‘error’. after leaving AUU2 beta. clicking retry does restart the download from 2gb and goes immediately to error again.

leave beta, reboot pc, start game.

it seems like my entire msfs installation has been removed

had to restart installation from xbox app. working fine now

It also deleted my whole installation! It is definetly gone because I have much more free space on my harddrive. Reinstalling now.

Did you have your community folder in another location? because if you have just point to the folder and it won’t redownload all the official packages

This folder is gone, too. But most of my external addons were just a link to the community folder and still exist in their original place.

I’m getting the same thing. I get to the game need an update, says it’s downloading but nothing is downloading, and then I get an error message.

Experiencing the same thing. I try updating MSFS on the Xbox App, it stays at 0% for a few minutes before showing an error message. It’s been doing this since yesterday for me and I couldn’t update.

Update: I just logged out of the Xbox App, restarted my PC, logged back in, and MSFS started updating…
