You mean hitting the Escape key on the keyboard?

I can not reproduce the effect (at least in the aircraft(s) I fly).

I noticed this on the Bonanza immediately after WU6 but I too was unable to recreate it on the ground later.
Further testing required.
Did you make any changes to anything in the options before returning to flight?
Check all your control settings. You should only have ONE hardware and ONE command that’s bound to the engine throttle. Otherwise the Sim will receive the throttle position from conflicting hardware.
Also don’t bind any command from a hardware that you don’t have. That also could cause issues where the Sim received phantom input from a hardware that doesn’t exist.
