Also runway is more like two-lane car road with lots of terrain altitude variation.
Also at least ILS rwy 15 takes aircraft to thick forest approx 1,5 - 2,0 miles before threshold. This might be though issue with runway length mentioned in start of this topic but defintely no forest clearance on approach path at all.
But request update on ESKS, it is currently like uncontrolled small airstrip, not ICAO rated airport.
On their facts page, they list the runway as 2500m (8,202 feet) , as per @Speedbrake22’s OP.
Partial Specs & current settings:
Build: SU15 (v1.37.19.0)
3rd-Party Addons: None, Community Addons: None
MSFS Version: MS-Store, Standard, plus All World and City Updates
If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
I did a double check with Navigraph and it appears the runway has been extended at the 15 side, which is missing in MSFS.
There is a payware ESKS but it hasn’t been well received. Besides, the base game should provide accurate information. Maybe with the release of scenery gateway I can fix this myself but I’ve heard mixed reactions about it.
Here’s a comparison between MSFS and Navigraph. Notice where the plane is located on the runway.
Hi @Puttishuu82,
With the upcoming release of MSFS 2024 on November 19th, I’d not expect to see any updates from the MS/AS team on this topic anytime soon.
The first change you would likely see is the feedback-logged tag added to the topic, which means that the topic is logged in their bug database, and the test team is working to reproduce the issue.
If the feedback is verified as a bug, the thread’s tag will be changed to bug-logged, which means the bug is now being assigned, prioritized, and worked on for a future fix.
