I’ve always commented on how stable my sim is but over the last few weeks i’ve had constant crashes and I cannot begin to understand why.
Any ideas on how i can begin to diagnose?

Sounds like a thermal problem or memory issue.
Did you control the temperature or the RAM usage?
Same problems for me.
I haven’t found any solutions yet.
Constant crashes with Fenix V2…

If only WITH fenix, you know the reason!!!
First step is to run the sim with empty community folder to exclude addons causing the issue. If it runs fine that way, you need to trace back as to what addons you installed since you remember the last time without this issue and remove them, followed by one-at-a-time re-add until the problem addon is identified.
If an empty community folder does not fix it, run HWInfo or similar to monitor your system during flight to identify thermal issues.
Finally, check if you’ve had a driver update recently as that may also introduce CTDs.

Hi there,
2 things that have worked for me (Fenix are aware and are “looking into a permanent fix”).
-
Add the whole msfs community folder to exclude in the windows firewall/antivirus/antimalware real time scan
-
IMPORTANT, uncheck ‘sync displays’ in the Fenix app.
Hi, friend has had the same issue with fenix, it turned out the Fenix app had to be started as admin, all ctds after 30-45/60 min disappeared forever (haven’t heard of new ones)
