Every Sunday, 21:30 UTC. Red Square, Moscow, landing Cessna 172s

From Sheremetyevo (Moscow international) to Red Square (north side of the second bridge east of the POI “Cathedral of Christ the Saviour”): 55°45"14’N, 37°37"15’E.

Taking off 21:30 UTC every Sunday.

Imagine a screenshot showing hundreds of simmer tags all in Red Square - that’s the goal.

And an image of the landing location:

Some feedback I’ve been getting is that this is too late for Australian simmers who would like to join, but of course it won’t be possible to accommodate all time zones here so I’d suggest another flight 12 hours earlier at 09:30 UTC for those too far east of UTC to make the 21:30 flight (which I expect will be mostly simmers from the Western Hemisphere including myself).

Hoping for a good turnout today, been plugging this hard in social media. If you’re joining please do hit that printscreen button and capture some shots to share if you’re so inclined.

I am here… or there… In Moscow … Guess I am early or late…no traffic to be seen…

You’re early, 25 minutes still as I’m writing this

Thanks to all who joined today, perfect landings everyone! I’ll be back doing this most Sundays at the same time, so hope to see you again. Feel free to send my a friend request.

Note that for some reason due to my payware scenery you all appeared landed at 50 ft
