As long as others do , I’m ok :+1:

I read that EVGA abandons GPU market, not only “not making or selling Nvidia 4090”. They terminate business relationship with Nvidia after 22 years due to conflicts.

Yes, a quick search will reveal lots of reporting, like this:

Of course, this happens only hours after I finally get an EVGA RTX 3090 XC3 Ultra. I know, it’s a XC3 but I got a brand new one for a ridiculously low price… Only the start of the problems. I’ve been in a home moving transition for many months now, got my machine back up and ran for a while until I landed this card. I’m old and I can’t remember all the stuff I have to do to get everything playing nice with each other,
Initially, a Intel I9-11900K, 64GB RAM on a Gigabyte Motherboard. The GPU was bottle necking me, an RTX 2060 Super.
Going to have to hit the forum for some setup advice, but it’s obvious the a card that drew 100 watts is replaced with a card that draws 250 - 350 watts, is gonna generate some heat. Won’t need to warm that room in the winter…

This is well worth the time if you are trying to understand what resources MSFS uses, what it doesn’t, and where bottle necks might be: Jon from BuildPicker tested the whole matrix of AMD, Intel and NVIDIA CPUs, GPUs, and RAM configurations for MSFS:

Thank You! I will certainly watch that. My concern at this time is to lower the GPU/Memory temps (73C/85C). JayZ posted a video and it appears these cards have some severe thermal pad/transfer paste issues. He thought the Nvidia production line might have been in too big a hurry getting cards out and the QC on that aspect of the card was lacking. Replacing pads (the right pads, after trial and error) and proper GPU paste to heat sink techniques lowered his card’s temps by about 8-10C.
If I can get that part under control, then I can tackle graphics settings and FPS issues.
Thanks again!
