Excessive APU fuel burn after SU5 update. APU now burns unbelievable amounts of fuel. After about 10 minutes, I think it went through 1 ton, if not more! I’m currently flying A330-200RR, pax variant, but I suspect it’s the same for all of them.

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Load aircraft
Fire up APU
Observe fuel tanks
Yep saw this today, ridiculous.
It is like the testers have not done a single flight in this aircraft….
I have it too. It’s round about 60 kg/min…definitely too much. Only what helps is to start APU short before pushback an turn of directly when engines are running. you can calculate on top to your fuel 500-600kg APU fuel and you don’t have later issues while the flight…thats the workaround for now

Well, I was wondering the same. I mean, I’ll do the testing for free, as I’m sure many of us would, just to have it finally working without issue

The bug is already fixed for me in SU6 Beta 1.8.8.0.
APU bug still exists as well as the in-flight fuel burn bug. Can’t even make it from Cincy to Minneapolis without running out of fuel. For the past year I see posts being marked as bug logged and taken to consideration but I have seen zero improvements to this prominent bug.
Can confirm the issue in SU 5.1
It’s apparently fixed in SU6, so gotta wait for that.
Weird, I’ve done longer flights without running out of fuel.
As mentioned above by @Daniel946106 should now be fixed in SU6 live version:
Although the APU fuel burn snag has been fixed for the A330-200 & -300 versions, it is still a problem on the A330-743L Beluga.
It probably just needs the same tweak as the other A330 aircraft, so maybe we could get a simple ‘on-line’ fix.
