Looks like this update added “Sea” trees! A new species that’s causing a huge amount of problems for the marine wildlife, boats and ships too. Barcelona is now ruined 
Addons installed are Barcelona El Prat by LVFR and issue still exists with addons deleted.
I decided to leave the BETA and the “sea” trees issues have all gone.

Please Asobo don’t add another broken PG! At least please fix previous issue before adding another new. City update 10’s PG has ruined ground texture at KDEN and still not fixed. Now this..
I reckon it’s going to be the same all over the world. No doubt it’ll be a simple fix for Micro/Asobo 
I left the BETA only because I want a working flight sim that I can enjoy when FS24 isn’t working or when I just want to make use of all the payware scenery and aircraft that still won’t work in FS24.
I’m in the BETA for FS24 so will stay out of the FS20 BETA now.

I have found similar issue in rio de janeiro, and possibly will find in another location later. I think there’s something to do with photogrammetry around water and the new bing data.
EDIT:
As I have said, just found similar trees around NZCH coast.
Wow there are quite a few more trees there, I’m guessing it’s only because Brazil has rain forests and far more trees then Barcelona

It’s in MSFS2020 SU16 BETA that’s having the problems. MSFS2024 is fine.

After SU16 I now see trees in the ocean of coastal areas.
I think it is possibly related to this change.
Same patterns in San Francisco Bay. Glad to see it’s not only my sim.
Do you have any updates on this bug? I have been able to repeat it on my machine as well.
