Are you interested in taking your enjoyment of MSFS to a new level?
Are you concerned about flying in a group of strangers? Maybe feeling you aren’t good enough to fit in with the activities.
Do you want to experience a whole range of aviation challenges across a broad range of aircraft types?
This flying group has been running since before the official release of MSFS2020. Since the release, we have covered a diverse range of flying disciplines and aircraft types. I was awarded the role of Event Organiser by Microsoft back in August 2020 and have been running events every week since then, which now totals over 660 events. Any of these events can be located on the Forum with the Search Facility and re-flown as all supporting details are maintained in the post.

What Aussie Group Flights Team is
Our Goals:
-
To provide a friendly, welcoming social environment to all sim pilots that are interested in getting together to enjoy this AMAZING Microsoft Flight Simulator.
-
To provide events that are fun, interesting, challenging, educational and occasionally, push the envelope on sim pilots comfort levels.
-
To provide comprehensive supporting information that has a consistent standard for ease of understanding.
-
To offer events that don’t exclude sim pilots for any reason (so long as it isn’t detrimental to the first two statements above), i.e., offer alternatives so all can be involved if possible.
-
To attempt to cater to different time zones, based on feedback from interested sim pilots.
-
To offer/arrange help and support when it is needed by other sim pilots.
-
To continue to strive to meet higher levels of quality and enjoyment in our events.
What Aussie Group Flights Team isn’t
-
We are not a group focused only on following aviation procedures at a complex level. We want to include all pilots with various levels of experience. Note: When the opportunity calls, we provide the opportunities for members to operate at a higher level, e.g., in VATSIM events, where procedures need to be followed and radio calls need to be made to other pilots or controllers. We also provide workshops on new areas that we introduce to assist pilots into future events.
-
We do not only fly in Australia or expect our membership to be Australian. We welcome all pilots from around the world. Currently we have 530 members from many countries around the world. Note: We can only support the English language though. If you have trouble speaking in English, you are still welcome to join in the events without communicating via voice.
Why not try out one of our many events that run throughout the week. You can check out the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Forum for our events under Community Events or via the Calendar.
