Experimental Darkstar changed with last update?

Before updates i had no problems with the Darkstar but now it always gets critical damage compared to before update. What was changed or went wrong? Befor update i never experienced that so i really wonder. Its starts shaking extremely short after take off. I did not reach mach 5 actually.

Hello,
What version of MSFS are you on? Are you participating in the Sim Update 12 beta?

Afaik i dont participate in beta program and the version should be most recent with world update 12. The Darkstar is now more like an egg. Finally i managed the flight.

Hi, the version number should be in the upper-left corner of the MSFS window:

The number in the screenshot, 1.31.18.0, is actually the Sim Update 12 beta. There are Darkstar changes in Sim Update 12.
I’m not aware of any changes in World Update 12 that would have caused an issue, though I cannot be 100% sure.

Mine is 1.30.12.0

How can i get a higher version number? By participating in beta? Is it very risky to fly in beta?

Yes, you are in the production, or stable version. I am in the beta.
Every beta comes with its own risks because it will almost have more bugs than the production version. The primary purpose of the beta is to test it and give feedback on what works and what doesn’t work.
That being said, the beta does have a couple of documented changes for the Darkstar, though none of them address what you’re talking about. However, they also don’t document every change, either.
Sim Update 12 comes out in two weeks.

Just a heads up, I’ve had this issue before as well. Make sure your spoilers are not set or “on.”

Also if you are at too low of an altitude and over more than 2.5mach the critical damage will occur.

I will often turn off G-Effect from jet pilot to Civil aviation, and forgot I’ve done so. Remember to turn g-suit effect on also. This can cause the critical damage to occur. Maybe play with these settings.
