Brief description of the issue:
Depart EGCK Rwy 07 and fly straight out for 3 to 4 minutes and you will see a ‘rift valley’ appear. It runs West to East and is apparent for some 12 - 13 minutes flying through the mountains and terminates on the plains some way East of Llanrwst… Clearly visible as a V shaped cut through the centre of the Glyder hills viewed from East or West

Plotted the start and end of the scenery rift which runs from just east of Caernarfon Town to a small lake just SW of the Sportsman’s Arms (the track line runs through the lake)

Well, the Rolling Cache was ON, must have been one of the several settings restored to default by the update and I hadn’t noticed. Deleted the rolling cache and the issue remains.
Fixed. Many thanks for your help Speed 1994, you are clearly better than me at diving into the Forum’s murky pools. I looked long and hard but I obviously don’t use the right search terms
Online Functionality was ON but Bing Date was OFF. I have now been through every setting and found a couple more, non related, that had been changed.
I spawned on 07 at EGCK and could clearly see the split in the mountains whilst still on the ground but as I approached Caernarfon Town the whole scenery outlook changed and the tear was gone,
