External LOD of the TBM930 is still bugged (either downloaded or streamed)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Even with the latest 2,83gb update to version 5.7.1 the issue persists.
When switching to external view, the TBM930 often displays only a low-detail model, even at relatively close range. Zooming or changing camera view can cause sudden quality and texture changes or popping of details.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. start the sim
2. select the plane
3. flying the TBM 930 and hit the drone camera to orbit around the plane:

• The cockpit windows turn black (no interior).
• The aircraft body looks low-poly.
• Textures change to the “dirty” version, on the tail unit
• The exhaust pipe prop stickers, vortex generators, and even the nose probe are gone.

So, three days, TWO votes, and no comments later, I assume that either no one cares, which explains the lack of will by Asobo to actually fix this, or no one uses FS2024 or the TBM anymore, even though the TBM is by far the only plane affected by this kind of bug.
Or perhaps customers and users simply can’t be bothered to report it, since Asobo hasn’t addressed the issue for over half a year now?

Hard to believe this is still unfixed after more than six months. The TBM spinner issue is glaring. Spin up the prop, zoom in a bit, and you’re met with bizarre internal textures and flickering colors that completely break immersion. It’s not subtle. It’s not rare. It’s a core aircraft with a clearly broken visual element. Same goes for the entire fuselage and exhausts but zooming out. Let alone the hyper unrealistic heathaze visible form the inside when flying.

What’s baffling is the silence. This isn’t a one-off edge case buried in a settings menu. It’s front and center on one of the most used planes in the sim. How something this obvious continues to slip through updates without even a basic acknowledgment is honestly frustrating.

Is this really the level of attention to detail we’re supposed to expect now? If this kind of basic visual fidelity slip goes untouched for half a year, it raises fair questions about priorities. What’s the holdup? FS2026?

Just voted for this issue too. I’m experiencing the same problem with the spinner. Additionally, I purchased a livery for this aircraft on the marketplace, but due to what appears to be LOD-related issue, it’s only visible from a specific angle in external view. Quite annoying, given that this is one of my favorite planes in the sim. I really hope this gets addressed soon.

It’s one of my favorites, too! Asobo, please fix this airplane! I’m begging you. What do I have to do, give you my first born child? Okay, he’s yours. He’s twenty six, and in the Air Force, so he might not go voluntarily, but take ‘im! If that’s what it takes, he’s yours! How hard can it be? You’ve created this incredible flight simulator, but can’t fix the prop and prop spinner on one airplane? Okay, take my second kid, too. She’s a pain in the butt, anyway.

Well, this is no longer a priority for me. I purchased the FSR500 and it’s a terrific airplane. If the TBM isn’t going to be fixed, it’s a great replacement.

this is the worst way to go, some would even say, that’s the whole point of features and good & usable planes not being in the game.

The propeller spinner has holes in the animation. The stickers on the propeller blades appear in the spinning animation. Lots of LOD glitches.

I hate this excuse that “you can just buy good payware”.

No, they can fix the ■■■■ default aircraft we already paid for in the first place!
