Brief description of the issue:

External power is always available, also if power unit by ground services is not connected

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Select 747-8 or A310-300 or A320 then start a cold and dark flight. External power inside airplane instrument is always present also when ground services car is not connected to the airplane

System:

XBOX Series X

As OP stated; even if aircraft is cold and dark and isolated on the ramp with no ground support vehicles nearby; the Ground Power “AVAIL” is always illuminated and available.

This is working as by design. The external power functionality is always available to users can start their plane from anywhere.
