My connection at the best of times is about 23Mbits/s, however its also a shared connection and I don’t want to hog it all by setting the game’s bandwidth limit to 20Mbits/s. Why then is the next lowest setting only a mere 5Mbits/s? Can we get something in between, say 10Mbits/s?
It wont use that much bandwidth constantly, it downloads in bursts like Netflix. Many times I’ve seen it only use 5Mbits/sec I monitor the bandwidth used via my router.
It’s not just in game that I’m concerned about though; I also want to pre-cache areas and doing so at 5Mbits/s is a tad slow. Seems to me like it should be an easy fix, so why not?
