Hey I’m just trying to do the first new training mission for the FA 18 for the Top Gun update and I’m not sure how to activate the afterburner. Will I have to make a custom bind for this?
I had to bind a button to Toggle Afterburner. At full throttle I then hit the button to light the afterburners. To turn them off pull the throttle back a bit.
Some people say they don’t need to do this but I couldn’t figure it out with my joystick setup.

Ohh yeah I should have mentioned I’m just using motion controllers. I’m wondering if there’s a button on the throttle or something that I can press?

Activate afterburner manually (in the moment via mouse control in the cockpit)
