What type of control setup are you using?

thrustmaster control like this photo

Since I don’t have the same controller peripherals as you, I’m just suggesting some guesses here.

I’m assuming you have Throttle 1 Axis mapped to the left throttle lever and Throttle 2 Axis mapped to the right throttle lever. Are you able to reengage afterburner in the number 2 engine by moving the right throttle back and then all the way forward and then selecting the afterburner toggle, or does it remain at 18%? I’m wondering if there’s some jitter in the signal such that it’s momentarily thinking it’s lower than it’s supposed to be, which might mean recalibrating the throttle axis might help.

Also, is the throttle peripheral device plugged directly into the computer or into some sort of hub? If a hub, is the hub powered? I’ve heard various people describing odd behavior if a controller is not getting sufficient power.

thanks your reply. My throttle peripheral device plugged directly into the computer.I will try moving the right throttle back and selecting the afterburner toggle.
I think this problem has nothing to do with throttle because fa-18 mod is normal when I use fa-18 mod in World map. ONLY in Top Gun fa-18 mod’s second engine power will drop.

I have solved this problem. the reason is that i had modified the control’s profile.

Thanks your reply. The reason is my controller’s wrong profile.
