Fantastic freeware Pitts Challenger II by F7 Simulations

F7 Simulations released a fantastic freeware Pitts Challenger II on flightsim.to. The airshow fans among you will recognize the aircraft I’m sure, it’s not just any Pitts, but the mount of legendary Airshow Pilot Sean D. Tucker.

It uses the stock Pitts cockpit and sounds, but the external model and the flight model are completely custom. The external model is easily at the same high level of a Carenado plane and the flight model is among the best, when it comes to aerobatic planes.

I’m no expert when it comes to extreme aerobatics, so some maneuvers are a bit sloppy and the aircraft is capable of much more then demonstrated here. But I made a video that hopefully might be useful as a first impression:

In online others MSFS users that not have this Addon, watch this aircraft like a Pitts or like the default Mooney?. Thanks for bringing this project to the light.

Is there something similar for the default S1?.

I’m guessing it probably shows up as the default Mooney, as it is a standalone addon.

Not to my knowledge, no. If I remember correctly, F7 Simulations wanted to bring Sean D Tuckers Challenger III and Skip Stewarts Prometheus (both highly modified Pitts) as payware aircraft to the sim someday.
